A little about Huon Pine

- This 3000 year old timber, which is only found in Tasmania, is becoming scarce due to slow growth rates, over exploitation and current strict protection laws. It is only now available now through salvaging old logs as the trees are protected. It is highly sort after for fine furniture making do to its high oil content which makes it rot-resistant, waterproof and very durable.
